The first player of each row holds each others hands while pulling back on each other

The other team members of each team hold each other by the waist and try to pull back the other team towards them

The first members of each team have one of their feet supported by their competitors

This sport is still practiced in the Egyptian countryside

Equipment needed: The rope, the arena (usually measuring a minimum of 60 meters by 12 meters), dressing rooms, control of events (tables and chairs for officials), and scales

Officials Job: "Pick Up the Rope"> "Take the Strain"> "Rope Must Be Tight"> "Pull"

One team attempts to pull the other across the center line
